Kate Davis is the founder and Executive Director of Raptors of the Rockies, a non-profit 501(c)(3) raptor education project located in Western Montana. In their 38th year of educating, Kate and Teaching Team birds have presented more than 1900 programs to schools and the public, an audience of 140,000, young and old alike. She has also presented her lively PowerPoint programs across the country from Boston to Seattle, with Chicago, Salt Lake City and Detroit in between, plus one TED Talk. She celebrated "Fifty Years as a Junior Zoologist" at a Cincinnati Zoo speaking engagement. Kate is the author and illustrator of six books on raptors, a National Outdoor Book Award Winner and Best Montana Book in 2011.
