ZACC Events

Zootown Arts Community Center at 216 W. Main, downtown Missoula has hosted our art show,  "Women Celebrate Birds" this month. Eleven artists are featured, many different mediums, and birds of all kinds! I have 6 etchings, and check it out. Especially now with Jazzoula back live! The ZACC showroom will be the jazz hot spot from Thursday through Sunday, our bird show next door. So Birds and Art and Jazz, who could ask for anything more?!!

Yes and Yep

Yes it is snowing right now and yep, six Wood Ducks hanging under the bird feeder every day, for a little while longer - Tom's nesting box near-by. Nico the Dog likes to watch them from her bench on the porch, along with pheasants, turkeys and California Quail.

Sister Betsy

My younger sister Betsy just passed away this evening, a brain disease related to long-term suffering from multiple sclerosis, and only symptomatic since December.  This was at Riverside Health Care where our mother died a month ago. Betsy was peaceful and quiet and finally shut down. So very missed!  LOVE you Bets, as will all of us -  me missing you at Peregrine nests, art shows, Snowbowl and everywhere. The saddest day(s) of my life, as with our brother Jonathan and all who knew her. Rest peacefully, sister.
