Right now. Mischa the Peregrine's hangout most days, and thanks Mike for the newspapers. She'll be inside along with two other falcons for nights this week with temps well below zero. That's what they say at least. Yes, that's Nico the dog, a stuffed peacock, metal raven sculpture, and Aaron Copeland record.

Scott Bovard expertly flattened the jagged edges with a Dremel tool, as I was too nervous to try! Beaks are keratin like fingernails, constantly growing and this will take a while...

Peregrine Pal Mischa broke a chunk of her beak off cracking a chicken drumstick just before Christmas and I have been totally going crazy trying to figure out what to do. Here is our favorite veterinarian Dr. Scott Bovard, Missoula Veterinary Clinic smiling (and me on the left reflection in the window, Nico in the back seat) today. Solved, mostly and more news tomorrow.
