Leadership Bitterroot
Return of the Chamber of Commerce in Hamilton, twice as many attendees this time and fun. However, you should see our poor muddy driveway now, man o man. We are shopping for a "fix" to the whole driveway this spring or summer.

Nico at Metcalf NWR
Nico loves going for rides, Mose not so much, and this one at Metcalf Refuge down the road. About half-way done etching the PETG plastic for the new art piece - a Long-eared Owl, what fun. Goal is to start printing tomorrow or Thursday.

Internet-Photoshop Problems, but Now!
Finally getting back and just finished this painting today. I kept saying to Tom every evening all week, “Finishing the Moose tomorrow.” This took until now and calf moose in our back yard, image from many years ago and always in my head. He had a big run in the slough, photo from later that summer:

First New Etching...
...In the House! Working on a drypoint etching and everything all in one spot here in the house instead of running up the stairs to the "old" studio. The new one and a Bald Eagle. The pair of eagles were perched over the nest today at the beach and I shouted, "Hey! I am doing an etching of you!" And I swear, she pulled her wings out to strike a regal pose. Like, "How's this?"

Nature Detective
Last weekend I was at the river by the house with the dogs and came across a big section of beach filled with huge piles of bird feces. Okay, poop. I mean 8 inches across and 6 high, and giant waterfowl
footprints. The photo on my flip phone was not very impressive. The next day about half of the ice had melted but you get the idea. Swans, about 60 - 80 of them! Wish I could have seen that.
